our story
Our love story feels like a page taken out of a fairytale book. Without knowing, Vinnie and my paths crossed numerous times before we officially met! We eventually put together that we have been at the same place at the same time... many times and had a ton of mutual friends all through the University of Alabama. Coincidentally enough, I do remember seeing him in church on Easter morning in Tuscaloosa because my mom had pointed out how handsome he was…unbeknownst to her that man would someday become my fiancé….
We didn’t officially meet until later down the road at the 2020 NFL combine and I whole heartedly believe that it was because God had much bigger plans for us ahead.
When I was working for an NFL agency, Vinnie had just scored a job with the New England Patriots. From the moment we met, I knew it was inevitable we’d be inseparable. The kind of soul connection that maybe comes once in a lifetime, if you’re lucky enough. We were infatuated with each other. We ended the work week with our ‘first date’ at St. Elmo’s Steakhouse and I drove back to Nashville with no plans on when I would see him next, though I just knew in my heart I had to!
After 3 short weeks of countless facetimes, texts, and calls that seemed to be 24/7 (ask my Nashville roommates ha-ha they wanted to kill us!)…Our worlds were completely shaken by Covid-19. Everything was shutting down and times were scary. I headed back to Atlanta to quarantine for what I thought would be a couple weeks…and Vinnie decided to head home to quarantine at his parents’ lake house, which also happened to be in Atlanta. What are the chances!? We both felt strongly we had to see each other again.
We spent all quarantine together with our families and closest friends by our side. We fell hard to say the very least….AND THE REST IS HISTORY. Here’s to a lifetime together. ♡
